Port-Puce Beach in Belle-Ile-en-Mer (Sauzon) is mostly used as a boarding place for kayaks and stand-up paddle through the small nautical base installed there. It is also a nice resting place. To get there, from the D25 crossing the island towards the tip of Poulains, do not take route de Gweiots turning right towards the port of Sauzon but the next right, Avenue des Peupliers on nearly 3 km. Then, at the junction with the D30, go through chemin Port-Puce. Why this name? Not because of the size of the creeks nor the parasites, it's just a strain of "puns", well, in Breton.
