Our opinion on the Petit Donant Cove
The small cove of Little Donant in Sauzon and its wild beauty is located (with difficulty) near the tip of Poulains in Belle Ile en Mer, which attract the curious. By the way, here one is on the Wild Coast of Belle-Ile, the one facing the ocean. And by "Wild", one means "disproportionate elements" and sometimes uncontrollable. Storms and spectacular cliffs, the sumptuous beauty of infinitely shimmering waves, emerald green water. As it is difficult to access, few people find it or dare to go there. And that's good because there is not much room. One can swim between two rounds of golf just above or after a visit to the home of Sarah Bernhardt who walked daydreaming over there and still haunts the places of her memory.

It is a creek for strong characters and beefy calves. It is difficult to access but the view at the top and at the bottom is breathtaking (as climbing the steps back).
Little space, even at low tide.
The staircase is long but steady and presents no difficulties.
A beach to recommend rather in the second half of the day, from the zenith to the sunset, it is southwest.
If the beach has few activities, all around one can see many fishermen (seasoned)...
... And a nice golf course just above. One can visit Sarah Bernhardt's house and eat in La Ferme de Sarah, a nearby restaurant.
