Ster Vraz Beach in Sauzon - France

At the bottom of a deep cove, the beach is well protected.

The numerous tenders at anchor suggest that the boats they have replaced are at sea. Mooring buoys are near the edge, which shows that the seabed is quickly deep. Beware of young children.

The different levels of foreshore retrace the different stages of the tides. One can see that this large beach is reduced considerably at high tide.

Cliffs to the north and south, the valley is however open to the northwest and southeast winds.

In other cases, the regulars take shelter against the cliffs.

Tamarisks in the background of the beach can also serve as a screen.
