The beach of Cala d’Orzo is one of the most beautiful wild beach of Corsica. Its access by car is very difficult (but possible). We usually come by boat. This sandy beach stretches between the Capo di Muro and the Capo Nero in a remarkable sandy cove between two towers who sit on both caps. There are three huts.
To get to this beach of Cala d’Orzo by car, take the D155 in direction of Serra-Di-Ferro. 500 meters after the locality of Acqua-Doria take on the right the small road in direction of Cala d’Orzo (from here the different periods are indicated – for example Chez Francis). Continue for 1.5 km then turn on the left (follow the Chez Francis signs). Be careful, the road becomes quickly a dirt track. Access is only possible with a small car that is not afraid of bumps ! Free parking for brave cars next to the beach. The ascent from the beach is very difficult because we have many holes and the road is sloping.
