Beaches in Belvédère-Campomoro (20110) France - advise, map and photos

Belvédère-Campomoro is a seaside destination in the south of Corsica. The old city looks over the superb gulf of Propriano where we find two marinas: Campomoro and Portigliolo that are shared with the neighboring village of Tivolaggio.

The commune has several sites that are not to be missed, like its tower –  the largest on the island, the house of Lorenzi de Bradi and even some dolmen and menhirs.

The promenade along the coast is beautiful. We find several beaches in Campomoro. At the border with Propriano is Portigliolo Beach, very agreeable, that goes all the way to Punta di Campomoro, with great vies of the sea and bay. Near the harbor in the center of Campomoro is the prettiest fine sand beach in the commune and it's very busy in the summer. For more tranquility, we can choose to visit the villages of Grossa and Bilia and admire the church San Giovanni, dating to the 12^th Century. More to the south we find the coastal path that allows us to discover a few nice wild beaches that are little frequented.

The prehistoric site Alo-Bisughje deserves a visit, even if just for the beauty of nature. The region of Campomoro is classified as a Grand Site Naturel and the landscapes are breathtaking. This area is also perfect for trying out submarine diving! Continuing toward Bonifacio, we arrive at the Sartène coat that hides away some of Corsica's marvels. Great for those who love wild beaches …
