Our opinion on the Bilhervé Beach
If the island of Arz ("Ours" in Breton) experiences regular tourist flows during the season, the Bilhervé peninsula only sees the most courageous pass through. Because you have to come on foot or by bike. There are no truly private beaches in Brittany, but this one is a bit like the guarded beach of the Keezam center, a holiday organization center located just a stone's throw away. Since we are on an island, the best way to come is by bike and you have to pass through this vacation center. Otherwise, on foot along the customs trail. Many come by boat or kayak from the mainland, for a day or longer. This Bilhervé beach on the island of Arz is pleasant, unsupervised but equipped with a beautiful range of water activities: sailboat, catamaran, paddle, kayak... Fine sand and the feeling of being at the end of the world are guaranteed, thanks to the absence of motor noises other than that of an occasional tractor.

Facing south-west, Bilhervé is long, quite wide, and not very crowded, even in summer. It's worth a visit...
It is bordered at its ends by cypress and tamarisk trees which enhance the environment.
The main activity is the nautical center which welcomes groups and is open for rentals.
But it's mostly young people who occupy the premises.
Some come from the mainland on a board...
...others in a kayak. But beware of currents at certain times!
Others, lazier ones, come in a sailboat and don't seem in a hurry to leave.
Others come by bike.
The path normally prohibits (and discourages) bicycles, but we've seen quite a few.
The sand is quite fine.
Dogs are not prohibited in principle since we haven't seen any signs prohibiting them.
