This cove of Penara (or pen ar raz) on the island of Arz, more popular than others, owes its frequentation to its jetty. Motor boats or sailboats unable to beach themselves dock on the east coast at this spot, the neighboring beach of Keroland only having a boat ramp. This jetty brings a lot of animation. It is also frequented because bicycles (often rented at the Béluré embarkation point) can reach it (other coves often being only accessible on foot). Like its neighbors, Penara has shaded areas from midday, another significant advantage in hot weather. Another advantage is that it is only 300 m from the village, its small bars, restaurants, and artisans.
