Arzon is a small seaside town on the Gulf of Morbihan, in Brittany. It is located at the end of the Rhuys peninsula and is bordered by the Bay of Quiberon, Atlantic Ocean side. Tourists appreciate being able to choose to swim in the ocean waves or enjoy the calm waters of the Gulf. Families enjoy the many activities organized by the council for the youngest (diving, sailing, sea kayaking), the city having been awarded the “Kid Resort” award. There are several beach clubs and crab fishing is a recreation not to be missed.
Arzon is also a nautical city which organizes many events throughout the year, from the Salon Mille Sabords to the Grand Prix of Crouesty not to forget the “Gulf Week”, the Regatta of Port Navalo and Crouesty Spring!
The Gulf of Arzon offers 32 kilometres of coastline! There are several beaches in Arzon. Families choose to relax on the Fogeo beach, extensive, those of Treno and Fontaines are perfect at high tide and great for picnics and that of Port Lenn is a photographer's paradise, there the sunsets are unforgettable! Nearby, Port Navalo marks the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan. Opposite, you can admire the beaches of Locmariaquer and, on clear days, the beaches of Quiberon. On the peninsula of Rhuys, you can enjoy the beaches of St Gildas de Rhuys or Sarzeau which are nearby.
