The resort of Yport is located north of Etretat (11 km away) and 7 km south of Fecamp. This former fishing port has retained its charm and has become a small seaside resort in Normandy. There are beautiful cliffs typical of the Albâtre Coast. Several marked trails allow you to walk around Yport. There is also the GR21 (hiking trail).
There, you will find beautiful red brick houses. The houses have inspired many writers and painters. The central beach is the meeting place in Yport.
Note that there is also a nudist club in Yport.
Above the beach, near the Casino, picnic tables are provided.
From Yport, there are many walks to discover the Albâtre Coast. Fécamp Beach is one of the places you will find (access via the GR21 - we cannot go along the cliffs by the sea because of the risk of landslides). To the west, just a few kilometres away, the hamlet of Vaucottes is home to the only beach in Vattetot sur Mer in a pleasant cove. For a change of scenery, you can go in the south of the department of Calvados for exploring the “Côte Fleurie” and its vast sandy beaches. The beaches of Honfleur are the closest.
