At ten kilometres from Etretat, Saint-Jouin-Bruneval has remained in the shadow of its famous neighbour. For family tourism, Saint-Jouin offers a nice alternative to the main sites of Normandy. It is on the Côte d’Albâtre with its high cliffs. The coast is not always easy to access but the views are outstanding.
To swim in Saint-Jouin-Bruneval, head towards the beach of Saint-Jouin-Plage (near the port of Antifer). The beach below the cliffs is fully equipped. In the summer season, there are many activities and there is even sand at low tide. You can practice many water sports and even sand yachting at low tide. Some restaurants and picnic tables make it possible to eat at the seafront.
North of the town, there is the Cap d'Antifer famous for its sedimentary deposits. In the south, the Bruneval valley offers a second access to the sea.
To the south, the beaches of Deauville are less than an hour away via the Normandy bridge, allowing you to enjoy the Côte Fleurie, which is totally different from the Côte d’Albâtre. Etretat, Yport and Fecamp are unmissable in Seine-Maritime.
