Located a few kilometers from Etretat, the village of Tilleul is charming. The little houses are built around the Church of the sixteenth century in a beautiful countryside. Holiday makers love the peace and quiet and the beach. It can only be accessed by foot, taking the Antifer valley. It is one of the most preserved of the Côte d’Albâtre and is close to La Sauvagère, superb site where you can admire drawings of the eighteenth century. At low tide, some sandbanks are uncovered. Note that naturism is tolerated on Tilleul Beach (left side of the Antifer valley).
Nearby is the town of La Poterie-Cap-d'Antifer. Its lighthouse, located on the cape of Antifer near Fécamp is 102 m above the sea level and dates back to 1949. It cannot be visited but is recognizable thanks to its large octagonal tower. The natural heritage of the town is rich and there are many excursions allowing you to discover it, from the high chalk cliffs to deep valleys and woods. Among the things not to miss, the Church of Gonneville la Mallet and its corn market, the beautiful beach of Saint Jouin Bruneval at the foot of the cliffs and Etretat.
