Old fishing hamlet occupied several times by the English, then became the fief of painters of the beginning of the 19^th Century, Honfleur is today a reputed seaside destination of Normandy in France. From its Sainte-Catherine cathedral build in wood to the Greniers à Sel (salt attics) that welcome many expositions, the little town is not short of assets.

Its different neighborhoods are animated and picturesque, testifying the Cote de Grace and Mont-Joli where we find one of the oldest sanctuaries in the region. Notre-Dame of Grace chapel welcomes the times of Pentecost and the Marins festival, which gives the occasion to follow the colorful procession. A small route allows us to join Mont-Joli and appreciate the open view of the valley of the Seine and the Normandy bridge which links Honfleur and Havre. It's ideal for getting to the beaches of Haute Normandie (Upper-Normandy) which offer different landscapes than the Cote Fleurie.

People come from afar to experience the markets of the city. The most famous being between Fossés and Place Sainte-Catherine being the most interesting, without forgetting the fish market on the pier.

Its seafront is located at less than two kilometers from the historic downtown area and is located at the entrance of the estuary of the Seine across from Havre. We find two beaches in Honfleur. The beach closest to downtown, Butin Beach, is the most popular. Vasouy Beach is more calm and natural. Toward Deauville we find the beaches of Trouville sur Mer or the beaches of Villerville are only a few kilometers away.
