To the south of the Grande Plage of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, we find the beautiful Suzac Cove (not to be confused with Suzac Beach at Meschers which is located farther south). A little-known cove which was in the past frequented by nudists (though prohibited now), it benefits from the preserved setting at the foot of the cliffs. Otherwise, as far as swimming is concerned, better to wait for rising tides given the numerous rocks (or to bring shoes). Be careful, the beach is not supervised. Surf spot during strong tide coefficients.
A little farther toward the Suzac Fort (about 100 meters), we find a second cove. We have not found access from the pedestrian trail (surely accessible at low tide but pay attention to rising tides as you risk becoming blocked in).
To access this beach, take the street to Suzac Fort (Note: access by car prohibited in summer) from the D25 (near the campground). Only a few parking spots are available.
