Our opinion on the Sables d’Or Beach
Sables d’Or Beach is the largest and widest beach of Anglet in the city center. It is located next to the tourist office, at the end of Avenue du Rayon Vert and stretches over Esplanade des Gascons. This beach is very well equipped with many beach volleyball courts. It is monitored in summer, from June to mid-September.
It is easy to find a parking space thanks to the presence of many car parks. There are also numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. Note that many events take place on this beach (concerts or fireworks).
