Our opinion on the Port Beach
Port Beach in Guéthary is located at the border with this small Basque village and Bidart. Narrow, it is nevertheless deep. The setting is original, between a dam on the left, the small port of Guéthary on the left (only a few boats) and a beautiful view of the Basque coast of Biarritz opposite. This central beach in Guéthary is not monitored but still nice to cool down. There are places to park along the pier of Alcyons. One can also access it via the bridge passing over the railway.

This small sandy beach has a picturesque setting next to the port of Guéthary. In the distance, one can see the lighthouse of Biarritz and Parlementia Beach straddling Bidart and Guéthary, which is accessible through the road of the beach promenade. The harbour breakwater is on the left, where angling is allowed.
Narrow but deep, this sandy beach is closest to the center of Guéthary.
On the left, one can see some colourful boats. This is the port of Guéthary!
