Our opinion on the Parlementia Beach

Parlementia Beach is located on the right side of the port of Guéthary. This long sandy beach is shared with the seaside resort of Bidart. It was once very popular with the customers of the spa centers. It is nice because it is central and not busy even in summer (because it is far away from Bidart and the access to Guéthary is not visible). At high tide, the beach is very small; there are only three sandbanks. There is an inclined plane to enter the beach at chemin Barogneria (next to the hut of Guethappy). In the center of Guéthary, there is a second kiosk.

Access is via the beach promenade (along the small port of Guéthary) or through sentier des Baleines. There is also an access through chemin Barogneria (access through route de Bidart).

On the left, one can see the village of Guéthary and its small port at the bottom. The photo was taken at high tide, the beach is very small but there are some sandbanks.

At the access through avenue Barogneri, there is access via an inclined plane (shown in this photo, it is at high tide). There is also a restaurant (Guethappy - ideally located, nice for a beachfront meal in an unusual place).
