Pont Beach in Saint-Malo is located in the bay of Minihic backed up to the point of Varde. This agreeable sand beach is easily accessible (by foot from the road) and is handicap accessible in the summer. There is also a lifeguard in the summer.
The environment is remarkable and gives a great global view of the bay of Saint-Malo all the way to fort National. The sand is fine and at low tide we can go to the neighboring beaches that are to the west. The only default is that it is very difficult to get here by car as there are only a few parking spots.
To get here from the center of St Malo, go toward Rothéneuf. On highway D201, just before arriving at point Varde, we find an impasse on the left (rue de la Greve) which joins the beach.
