Our opinion on the Ecluse Beach
Ecluse Beach in Dinard is the main beach in this seaside destination. Bordered by an agreeable pedestrian promenade and beautiful buildings (notably the casino), this beach is the busiest. Tucked between the points of Malouine and Moulinet, this beach offers a nice width of sand. However, at low tide, the sea can retract a lot. We do however find a pool of water on the right at low tide.
This beach is very well equipped with a first-aid station and is handicap accessible. There is a club for kids and restaurants on the seafront along the promenade. In the middle we find the statue of Hitchcock which welcomes numerous vacationers.
This beach is found downtown along boulevard Wilson. Paid parking.

Here we have a global view of this central beach as the tide is going out.
This beach is crowded at the end of July, but we still are able to find a spot.
In this photo we see the pool created as the tide goes out. Very nice at low tide.
A nice global view of this beach of Dinard with the statue of Alfred Hitchcock (constructed for the British film festival – but he never came to Dinard).
This beach is very well equipped for kids in the summer. We see the seafront of Dinard with its beautiful villas.
From this beach we have a nice view of Saint-Malo and notably the old city.
On the west coast, we find the pointe de la Malouine with nice villas which are symbolic of the city. In this photo we can see the grandeur of this beach.
A nice depth for this central beach to the left of the casino and a nice pedestrian walk.
This beach holds many blue and white striped tents – a true symbol of this destination.
Along this beach we find an agreeable pedestrian promenade with cafes and a casino.
