North of Saint-Coulomb, between the points of Grands Nez and Nid, we find Guesclin Beach. Preserved, the only construction we find is the fort Guesclin on a small island reachable at low tide (it was inhabited by Léo Ferré until 1968 and is still private property).
To the left of the fort is a nice sand beach, that can still be enjoyed at high tide, with a lifeguard in the summer and handicap access. The right side is very rocky and is mostly frequented at low tide for gathering shellfish.
To get here from Rothéneuf, follow D201 for 3 kilometers toward Cancale. The beach is visible from the road and nearby is a small parking lot.
