Located in Havre du Lupin, Havre Beach of St Malo Rothéneuf is one of the most authentic beaches of St Malo. Practically closed, the cove has long been called the Swiss lake. People come here with young children since the sea is always calm (there is a very narrow gully between Ile Besnard and the point of Rothéneuf which opens to the sea). The only inconvenience is that swimming is only possible at high tide. At low tide there is a vast stretch of sand. It is equally the ideal spot to practice windsurfing.
We find several zones on this beach. To the left, the Rothéneuf side and the little harbor, there are mostly little sand creeks separated by rocks. On the right side, the limit of the city St Coulomb, we find a vast stretch of sand that is accessible from paths in the middle of houses that starts from the route.
To get here from the center of Rothéneuf, take rue du Havre toward Cancale (sign indicating the nautical center of Havre). A little parking lot is located near the beach (with toilets).
