In the department Ille-et-Vilaine in Brittany, not far from Dinard, we find the small seaside destination of Saint-Lunaire. Rather familial and appreciated for its tranquility, we find pretty beaches in Saint-Lunaire that are relatively calm even in the middle of summer. They also offer superb sites, among which is the pointe du Décollé.
The divided shore and the rocky points separate the four beaches that feature the Pavillon Bleu, a testimony of their environmental quality. Several points of view allow us to benefit from the beauty of the bay, from Saint-Malo to Cap Fréhel. The pointe du Nick and its Papillon circuit please hikers. We can observe the isle de Cézembre. From Décollé, the exceptional architecture of the city unveils the villas built in 1880. On land, the countryside of Saint-Lunaire is not without charm, just like the village that hosts many great heritage sites. We can also stumble along the dolmens like at Plate Roche.
Brittany is known for its big tides. They are not to miss from the estuary of the Crèvelin stream that offers different faces according to the time of day. Bicycling allows us to also take advantage of the landscapes of the region and of the creeks and seaside destinations all around, like the beaches of Saint Briac sur Mer which are located nearby. The beaches of Dinard are also close.
