Our opinion on the Aiguille Cove

The coves of the tip of l’Aiguille in Théoule sur Mer are located after Aiguille Beach. To get there, there are two paths to choose from! The first one goes behind the beach restaurant of Aiguille. The second one goes from the car park on the DR 6098 (beyond Théoule, follow the road in the directions of Fréjus to the car park located on the left below, indicated by the departmental park of Pointe de l’Aiguille).

By a steep path (bring good shoes), it takes 20 minutes to reach the beaches. The first one (closest to Théoule), Gardanne Beach is very difficult to access (one has to climb, access seems too dangerous). Stairs lead to the second one. That's Pointe de l’Aiguille Creek, separated into two parts by rocks. The beach is covered in pebbles with an enchanting view of the Islands of Lérins. Note that an underwater trail is located at the first beach.

Behind the Caves of Gardanne, there is also a third beach, deemed to be naturist. The access is very complicated (one has to jump a wall on the path from the car park of the RD 6098, indication on the wall with a marker pen) and dangerous.
