Our opinion on the Normandelière Beach
Normandelière Beach is located south of the city centre of Brétignolles sur Mer, and offers a preserved environment while being close to the center. There is an esplanade at the access with an aid station (opened in July and August), a nautical centre and a restaurant at the edge of the sand. This beach is family-oriented. The beach is wilder and bordered by pleasant dunes on the left. Note that there is a body of water a dozen meters away from this beach (useful at low tide).
To get to this beach from the center of Brétignolles, go on the D38 towards Les Sables d'Olonne. Turn right after 1.5 km (sign indicating the beach and the sea water basin of Normandelière). There is car park down the road.

We are on the dunes near Normandelière Beach and its water sport center. There is a monitoring station in the center of the photo. Dune Beach is in the background.
This beach is slightly outside of Brétignolles (which can be seen in the background of this photo).
The beach is more preserved with lovely dunes on the left. One can quickly reach the beaches next to the dunes.
There is a nearby beach restaurant and an esplanade at the access and the car park.
