Marais Girard Beach in Brétignolles sur Mer is located at the entrance of the seaside resort (southern part), along Grande Roche Avenue. It is easy to access with a car park at the main entrance; attendance is very family-oriented despite the lack of an aid station. One can reach the beach and the basin of Normandière on the left and the coast on the right, which is rocky and popular for fishing from the shore at low tide.
To reach this beach from Les Sables d'Olonne at the entrance of Brétignolles, follow Source Street, then Marais Girard Street. There is a car park on the left with stairs leading to the beach at the bend. There are a few shops and restaurants at the car park.
