Our opinion on the Menasina Beach
South of Cargèse, there is the beach of Menasina which is a less known small sandy creek at the north of the tip of Molendinu which extends on about 200 meters. Mostly frequented by the tenants of the holiday residences located above, this creek offers a nice view to the Cargèse Navy. However, to get there you must walk for 10 minutes (the beach is at about 400 meters from the parking – downhill). By rough sea, swimming can be dangerous (however we walk far enough compared to the other beaches of Cargèse).
To get to this beach coming from the city center of Cargèse, take the direction of Sagone by the D81 for about 3 km. 100 meters after the Ityon residence, there is on the right a parking with a trail going down to the sea.

Located south of Cargèse, the small creek of Menasina (on the right of the photo) is less known.
As you can see on this photo, the sea can be rough in this area. The building on the left is the university conference center.
This creek is quite deep. Possibility to practice sailing.
From the end of this creek, we have a view on the Cargèse Navy (level of the tip in the background).
In summer, there is a hut with mattress rentals.
On both ends, there are rocks. Children have a lot of fun there.
