San Giuseppe Beach in Sagone is an extension of Liamone Beach (north - delimitation by the Liamone river). This large sandy beach stretches over a kilometre with dense vegetation along. There are few accesses along the D81, only at the northern end of the beach (see map). Note that there is a nudist area at the mouth of Liamone. However, one must be careful in this area of Corsica because swimming is deemed dangerous (strong currents and the sea can be very rough).
To get to this beach from Ajaccio, take the direction of Cargèse. After the hamlet of Tiuccia, continue for 4 km on the D81 (one reaches Liamone Beach first, then past a bridge). There is a track on the left (the beach is 200 meters away), park before, along the road.
