Our opinion on the Pero Beach
The beach of Péro of Cargèse (or beach of Peru) is north to the city center of Cargèse. This big sandy beach stretches in a gulf between the tip of Cargèse and the tip of Omigna, both possessing genoise towers. About 900 meters large, this beach of Cargèse has several huts where we can eat (in the north and in the center of the beach). We can also rent sea kayaks. On the right part, there are some rocks. This beach is among the beautiful beaches of Cargèse. However, we quickly get more foot in the water ...
There are two main access on this beach with parkings. To get to this beach from the center of Cargèse (of the navy), take the road below from the D81 on 1.5 km, several parkings are available near the beach.

This beautiful sandy beach of Cargèse stretches in the gulf of Pero. We see here in the background the tip of Cargèse. In summer, it is possible to rent kayaks. In the middle of the photo, we see the first aid station.
