Our opinion on the Domino Beach
Domino Beach in Saint Georges of Oléron faces the Atlantic Ocean and stretches over several hundred meters south of the tip of Chaucre. The main part north is largely composed of rocks in the water. It is not recommended for swimming but for shore fishing. The southern part is the most interesting; it is an extension of Bonnes Beach and Sables Vignier Beach.
From the center of Domino, this beach is accessible by avenue de l’Atlantique. There is a small car park. It can also be accessed through chemin du Rateau. We recommend going through Bonnes Beach to swim.

Photos of the Domino Beach
Domino Beach stretches south of the tip of Chaucre. The northernmost area is very rocky and swimming is very difficult. It is used at low tide for shore fishing.
In the north, stone dykes replace the dunes. The area is not very pleasant to swim in, in our opinion.
The southern area is the most pleasant with a large sandy cove monitored in summer (but in fact the beach is called Bonnes Beach in the center and Sables Vignier Beach to the south).
