Boirie Beach in Saint-Denis-of-Oléron is located at the marina (southern part). This large sandy beach stretches several hundred meters towards the peak of Proires. The nearest part of the port is the most family-oriented area and the busiest. In season, there are colourful bathing huts, a first aid station and a refreshment bar. Beach volleyball courts, a table tennis set and a playground are available near the beach. Further away to the south, the beach is wilder but narrower (some tourist structures such as hotels and campsites are located along the beach).
To reach this beach, follow the signs to the port of Saint-Denis. There is big free car park at the latter. It is also possible to park along Ocean Boulevard.
