Our opinion on the Central Beach
Agon Countainville Central Beach (also called Countainville beach) is the most central beach of the Channel resort. It is supervised near the De Gaulle square and is equipped for people with reduced mobility. Nearby, there are several shops and restaurants.
Countainville’s seafront is very nice with a pedestrian promenade which extends for several kilometres. You can also find the seaside architecture of the time when sea bathing was fashionable with some nice houses.
The beach is closed to dogs in July and August. There is a small free car park at the De Gaulle Square.

Along the pedestrian promenade of Agon Countainville and facing the beach, there is the architecture of the time when sea bathing was fashionable.
The architecture is very diverse ... The big advantage of this beach is its distance from the road while the city centre and its many shops and restaurants are close by.
Several breakwaters are deployed on this beach to limit erosion due to the tides.
The beach extends north towards Blainville sur Mer.
The Coutainville promenade is very pleasant. Bicycles are prohibited in July and August (also off-season weekends and bank holidays).
