Beaches in Donville-les-Bains (50350) France - advise, map and photos

Located in the northern area of Granville, Donville seaside resort has the advantage of having a sandy beach that stretches for over several kilometres. The village centre is located above and slightly away from the waterfront (but is accessible by stairs).

After arriving in Granville via the point of Lude, you will discover this unusual waterfront with the village set on the hill, the vast beach of Donville that stretches for many kilometres to the North.

Donville Beach is below the village. It is supervised in the summer season and even has a water reservoir for a swim at low tide. A few hundred meters further on, the former Hermitage Hotel reminds us of days gone by (it has been converted into a residence). Nearby, the new spa centre of Donville offers a multitude of services with a direct view of the English Channel.

Activities abound in Donville. Golf in Breville sur Mer (nearby), racetrack, sand yachting, ... visits to the Channel Islands.

Its proximity to Granville is a real asset (besides Donvilles beaches are nicer). In the south, we appreciate the beaches St Pair sur Mer (also a saltwater pool) and Carolles waterfront with its bathing cabins.
