Our opinion on the Layet Beach
Layet Beach, in Lavandou, is one of the best known nudist beaches in the Var Department (also called Buccaneer Cove). Located about 6 km from downtown Lavandou, going toward St-Tropez and before the Cavaliere Beach, this sand beach owes it reputation to the restaurant which is found here (Le Cabanon).
To find this beach, go toward St-Tropez. After Aiguebelle we find a bend in the road before arriving at Cavaliere. Park here. The beach is just to the left. A slightly sloped path gives access to the beach.

This is one of the best known nude beaches in Lavandou. There is an elevated number of nudists here.
Going further to the left, we arrive directly on Cavaliere Beach. In the foreground, we can see the small boat used by the restaurant to pick up clients who arrive by boat.

Here we have a view of the beach from the sea.
On the left of the picture, we can see the restaurant Chez Jo. It's one of the best in Lavandou where we can enjoy fresh fish and bouillabaisse. It is only open in the afternoon and a reservation is mandatory.
