Our opinion on the Grande Beach
Grande Plage (Grande Beach) in Lavandou is found on the right side of the harbor. We find the most activities here, including: paddle boat, sailing, water skiing. Bordering the beach we can find many palm trees which give shade in the summer. This sand beach is completely public (the private beaches are on the right side near Anglade) and offer a nice width of sand. Many shops available.
To get here, go toward Port de Lavandou (the harbor). You'll find many free and paying parking lots around.

This is the most central beach in Lavandou. Nice width of sand on the side near the harbor.
Along this beach is a pedestrian promenade. There are a few palm trees here.
In the background we see the harbor. Its one of the most loved swimming areas.
The beach gets smaller as you head toward Bormes les Mimosas.
A lovely view of the Massif des Maures and Porquerolles island.
