Tamarone Beach is famous for being one of the most beautiful beaches in Cap Corsica. Located in the town of Macinaggio between Punta di a Coscia and Monte di a Guardia, away from the port, it is accessible by car (it is a track) or by the sentier des Douaniers. It includes about 500 meters of sand in an unspoiled setting. There is a hut on the right, near the car park (open in summer), an important supply point because it is the crossing point for hikers to the most secret beaches in Macinaggio. On the same side, there are some lovely small coves and rocks. Note that this beach is usually covered in Posidonia.
To get to this beach from the port of Macinaggio, follow the D80 then turn first on the right (there is a SPAR and many hotels are indicated). Follow the road to U Stazzu campsite. There is a track 100 meters from it (one must pass between two wooden poles width limited - prohibiting campers). The beach is about 1.5 km away. There is a big free car park.
