Cala Beach (also known as Barcaggio Beach) is located at the port of Barcaggio and stretches over 1 km along the path of the Douaniers, which reaches the beaches of Macinaggio. The further away one goes to the east, the wilder and more unspoilt the beach becomes. Some dunes border it (very unusual in Corsica). The bravest can continue after the tower of Agnello in order to reach the beaches around the tower of Santa Maria. Note that there is a hut on the beach.
To get to this beach from Macinaggio (18 km), take the D80 and the D253. In the hamlet, when one is on the seafront, follow signs for the coastal footpath. There is a car park at the end of the road.
