Santa Giulia beach in Porto Vecchio is one of the most famous beaches in South Corsica. Located in a sheltered shallow bay, and covered in rocks, the seabed is remarkable and exceptionally clear. This vast gulf is composed of several beaches. Swimming is gently sloping. It is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. Attendance is very high in summer.
There are two accesses for this beach in the direction of Bonifacio out of Porto-Vecchio. The first is through Northern Santa Giulia. After the roundabout (junction for Ajaccio), continue on 2.9 km. At the roundabout, turn left towards Bocca Di L'Oru. Follow the road for about 1.5 km and turn right (many signs indicate Northern Santa Giulia). Continue for 1.8 km then park in the slope.
The second access is located 1.5 km after the previous roundabout on N198. A sign indicates the various infrastructures of the Gulf of Santa Giulia. There are several free car parks a few hundred meters away. Pull over quickly because access is then restricted to the inhabitants.
Note that for the second access, there is a road equipped for disabled people near Moby Dick dock - also the only monitored area in the Gulf of Santa Ghjulia).
