Our opinion on the Roya Beach
Sandy Roya Beach in Saint-Florent is located near the port and to the west of Aliso River. This large beach is monitored in summer and is easily accessible with several car parks along Pezzu Road with small paths in the middle of the scrubland directly overlooking the beach. It is also the most popular beach in the Gulf of St Florent although it is not the wildest or calmer. There are also restaurants, mattress rentals and the possibility to practice water sports.
Note that the further one moves away from the port, the greener the environment becomes.
Dogs are allowed on the beach provided they are leashed.

Roya Beach is located south of Saint Florent near the port.
In a green setting with a few trees, Roya Beach is the main beach in Saint-Florent.
The beach stretches south towards the coastal path (path leading to the beaches of the Agriates desert). There is a car park. It is quieter than the area near the port.
We are at the beginning of Roya Beach. The view of St Florent is nice with pine trees providing shade in summer.
This is one of the most easily accessible beaches in the Gulf of St-Florent. There are many beach institutions.
From this sandy beach (narrow at times), the view of St-Florent and its port is wonderful.
There are hotels, campsites and nearby sailing schools on this beach. Private beaches are also available.
