Our opinion on the Ospedale Beach
Ospedale Beach in Saint-Florent stretches over about 1.5 km. The main area (the city centre towards Tettola Hotel) is mainly composed of small pink stones. The beach is narrow in this area. In the left area stretching over the bunker, there is sand on the beach and small pink pebbles in the water. This area seems to us the most interesting because it is somewhat isolated from the road.
To get to this beach from the centre of Saint-Florent, take the D81 towards Cap Corse. This road goes along the beach. The best access is located at Domaine Gentille where there is a small car park and above all a sandy beach.

This is the right side of Ospedale Beach. Only this part is relatively wide, the rest of the beach is on the roadside. There are some areas with mattress rentals (visible in this photo).
This is the beginning of Ospedale Beach (outside the city centre of St Florent). This area is narrow and covered in pebbles. The road is very close and parking is very difficult.
We are back at the end of the beach (in the direction of Cap Corse).
There is a bunker at the tip. This is the limit of this beach. Tettola Beach is behind.
It is sandy at the end (however, there are pebbles in the city centre). There are little pink pebbles at the waterfront.
This beach stretches to the centre of St Florent.
