Portouais Beach in Erquy is one of the wild beaches in the Cape of Erquy, shorter than its neighbour on the right, Guen/Lanruen Beach, a little more accessible than its neighbour on the left, Lourtouais Beach. The natural environment is guaranteed: pines, ferns, heath, and dunes are more beautiful than the last. One often has the feeling of being alone in the world. The small car park is not nearby; one has to walk a little. But the valley leading to the beach is also a sight for sore eyes. Caution, no monitoring station...
To get to this beach from the center of Erquy, take rue des Plages Sauvages, Avenue Léon Hamonet then left Rue de la Plaine Garenne. There is a car park 500 meters away on the left. The path leading to the beach is on the right (650 meters on foot).
