Minieu Beach in Sables d'Or les Pins is one of the best beaches in Brittany. This beautiful sandy beach opposite the islet of St Michel (accessible at low tide), is nearly 3 km long and bordered by the small resort of Sables d'Or les Pins. The beach is preserved despite being close to the city center. Dunes border it, and its environment is peaceful. It is monitored in summer and equipped for disabled people (tiralo). One can practice many water sports (kite surfing, windsurfing, surfing...)
There are hotels, accommodation, a casino and restaurants within walking distance in the center of the resort.
Many free car parks are located along boulevard de la mer.
To get to this beach from Erquy, take the D786 in the direction of Cap Frehel and follow the direction of Sables d'Or les Pins (D34).
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach in July and August from 10 am to 7 pm (therefore only allowed before 10am in the morning and evening in summer, but they are allowed from September to late June).
