The seaside resort of Saint Cast le Guildo is one of the most famous resorts of Brittany. Located on the “Côte Emeraude”, close to the famous resorts of Ille et Vilaine, the resort is family orientated and up market which attracts numerous celebrities.

As for the beaches of Saint Cast le Guildo, the choice is vast. Several large sandy beaches with many activities. There are also some beautiful coves with a family atmosphere.

The resort is divided into three areas. The resort centre is located at the Mielles (around Grande Beach), it comes to life mainly in the summer. To the south, near the beach of Pen Guen, there is the area of “la Garde” with its beautiful opulent villas. And north to the point of St-Cast, “Isle”, with its picturesque fishing area, is the most authentic place. Around the semaphore, you hgave a magnificent view of the bay of Fresnaye (Fort La Latte) and Cap Frehel.

St Cast le Guildo is a very good base for exploring the North of Brittany. To the west, the Cap Frehel and the beaches of Erquy are essential. The nearby beaches of the peninsula of St Jacut de la Mer are also very popular. To the east, in the neighbouring department, the coast becomes more crowded in the summer season. St Malo's beaches are the best known but those of Dinard are also worth a visit.
