Close to Pléhérel-Plage (in Fréhel) and below Pointe Aux Chèvres (Goat Point), you can find Croc beach, offering some of the greatest views to Cape Fréhel the area has to offer. Protected in its entirety and surrounded by expansive dunes, this beach counts among some of the most beautiful in Brittany. Shaped like a croissant, Croc beach forms 800m of the GR34. It is monitored during the summer and has facilities to accommodate for those with reduced mobility.
By way of accommodation there are many options in the nearby village of Pléhérel (in Vieux Bourg) as well as a camping site that has direct access to the beach. During high season there is even a beach bar with some tables on the sand.
Note: dogs are not allowed on this beach in July and August from 10am – 7pm.
To get here from Pléhérel city centre, take the tourist route going to Erquy. Before reaching Pointe de la Chèvre, take the road going down on the right which takes you to the beach’s free parking.
