Pléneuf Val André’s Nantois Beach is one of the major nudist beaches of the Côte Emeraude. Located near Erquy, below the golf Val-André, it is one of the beautiful beaches of the area. However, it is not very crowded even in high season. Its environment is totally preserved facing the point of Pléneuf of the island of Verdelet. The beach is very large with extra-fine sand. However, the tides are strong in the area and the beach is completely covered at high tide. The area is often windy, but the cliffs provide shelter.
This beach is family orientated with a few locals (however, many hikers come to enjoy this exceptional place and at low tide we can find sand yachts). Many paragliders fly over this area (they leave the point of Pléneuf and will land on the nearby beaches). Dogs not allowed in July and August.
To go to this beach from Pléneuf-Val-André, take the coastal road toward the city of Berneuf (Pléneuf golf club also indicated). After the exit sign of Pléneuf-Val-André, take the road on the left (no indication, just a speed limited sign 30 km/h). At the end of the road, park in the car lark (free). A path leads to the beach. Once on the beach, turn right, the beach is after the rocks. Be careful at high tide, the beach is not accessible by road (the sea covers the beach, you cannot get behind the rocks), you have a detour of around 2 km from the car park. Do not get trapped ...
