There is a wide unspoilt sandy beach at the marina of Courseulles-sur-Mer. It is monitored in summer. The environment is very nice and the beach is away from the road (it is unfrequented). There is also a water sport center. Juno Beach center is located nearby, reminding us that this beach has a historic past and is one of the landing beaches. This is the landing area of the Third Canadian Division (6 June 1944). Several monuments recall this episode, which freed Courseulles within hours.
To get to this beach from the center of Courseulles sur Mer, follow the D514 towards Croix de Lorraine and Juno Beach center. Turn right 350 meters after the harbour (the aid station is indicated). There is a large car park near the beach.
