Our opinion on the Bernières Beach
Bernières Beach is located west of the resort by taking the direction of Courseulles near the stadium. This sandy beach stretches from the sailing club to the place du Canada. The area is supervised in the summer season (the lifeguard station is located next to the sailing club). There are several bars and restaurants around the Place of 6 Juin. Note that this beach is part of one of the five allied landing beaches of Normandy (Juno Beach).
Access to this beach is by following the D514 towards Courseulles. At the stadium, there is free parking and access to the beach.

We are at the lifeguard station to the beach of Bernières sur Mer’s beach and looking towards St-Aubin-sur-Mer. Some beach huts along this wide sandy beach.
We are at the allied landing memorial square. This beach is one of the five allied landing beaches in Normandy and is called Juno Beach.
In the foreground, we have the lifeguard station (which is open in the summer season) and allows access for people with reduced mobility.
Along the beach, there are several restaurants.
