Bernières-sur-Mer’s Platon Beach is located west of the resort (on the side of Courseulles sur Mer). This vast sandy beach is one of the most untamed of Bernières with its western area that is completely free of construction (it has no road nearby). At the main entrance, there is a restaurant and beach huts. On the right, a sailing centre is also available.
Access to this beach is by following the D514 (Rue Victor Tesnière) towards Courseulles. At the end of this street (when the road leaves the seaside) there is a small car park on the right.
