Pénestin’s Palandrin Beach is in the Loire-Atlantique, next to Assérac Beach (Pont-Mahé Bay). The large sandy beach is popular with families at high tide (be careful, it is not supervised) because swimming is on a gentle shelving beach. However, at low tide, swimming is quite difficult as the tide goes out a long way. The environment is quiet and you can easily find a place in the summer because it is very large.
To get to this beach from the centre of Pénestin, take the D201 towards Assérac. 400 meters before the county of Loire-Atlantique, take the road on the right (Allée du Palandrin). Parking is at the end, next to the beach.
