Located north of Maresclé point, Pénestin’s Poudrantais Beach is the beach where you can practice many water activities. It is supervised in the summer season and is equipped for people with reduced mobility. From the latter, there is a beautiful view of the beach and the cliffs of Mine d’Or. However, at high tide, the beach is very narrow.
To get to this beach from the centre of Pénestin, take the D201 towards Assérac then at the roundabout take the road from the beach towards the Mine d’Or Beach. After 300 meters, turn left on Allée des Coquelicots. You arrive directly at the seaside near the sailing centre.
