Our opinion on the Sorlock Beach
Mesquer’s Sorlock Beach is located to the north of the seaside resort at Merquel point and near the entrance of the Tract of Mesquer / Pen Bé. This large sandy beach is separated into several areas. To the south, there is the main beach with a sailing centre and a lifeguard station (with wheelchair access). To the north, some rocks reduce the width of the beach and form small coves. You can practice windsurfing there. It is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful beaches of Mesquer but very crowded in the summer season.
To reach this beach from the centre of Kercabellec, take the D352 in the direction of Quimiac then follow the indications for Merquel point and the beach of Sorlock. Several parking areas.

This beach of Sorlock in Mesquer is the most popular beach of the seaside resort. On the left, you can see the lifeguard station.
To the south of the beach there is a children's club (inflatable structure).

From the pleasant walk along this beautiful beach of Merquer, you can see Sorlock point.
At the end of the point (near the entrance of the Traict of Merquel), there are some small coves.
To the north of the beach, you can practice windsurfing.
