Pénestin’s La Source Beach follows on from the Mine d’Or Beach. Its environment is identical as both are large sandy beaches and are both bordered by ochre/orange coloured cliffs. Unlike its neighbour, this beach has a lifeguard station in the summer season. Access is via a dirt track. The site is beautiful and can become crowded in the summer season (but the beach is very large).
Access to this beach is via the Maro lane. The beach is indicated on the left (sign) and there is free parking then a dirt road.
Note that this beach is used as a take-off point for paragliders.
